A local police officer faces jail and absolute disqualification for sexual abuse of a minor: “He offered to protect her”

The Fifth Section of the Provincial Court of Valencia judges this Tuesday a local police officer accused of tosearch sexually and continuously of a minor under 16 years of age. The Prosecutor’s Office requests a sentence of six years in prison and twelve years of absolute disqualification for the agent.

According to the information provided by the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSCJ) and the account of the public ministry, the police officer would have used the friendship he had with the mother of two girls, 14 and 11 years oldto contact them by telephone.

Through calls and messages of sexual content, the Prosecutor’s Office defends that he showed an intention to satisfy his sexual fantasies and achieve a success in the minors. Thus, during the month of June 2022, the defendant sent WhatsApp messages in which he asked them if they were alone, if they had social networks or if they had posted compromising photos on them.

The man warned them that “there was a person raping and kidnapping girls their age” in the area where they lived and He offered to protect them as a police officer. The Prosecutor’s Office adds that the man sent audio messages to the youngest of the victims in which he panting and excited voice or whispering, in which he insisted on calling her.
