Black Myth: Wukong – the action game from Game Science inspired by Journey to the West – will be available from August 20 and will allow us to experience the adventures of the monkey. It will be released on PC and PS5 and some fans may be wondering exactly what are frame rate and resolution which the game will aim at.
For now we have no official confirmation, but a leak from a Chinese journalist reports that there will be two graphic modes, which appear to be the classic “Resolution” and “Performance” which we are now accustomed to in current-generation console video games.
What’s Revealed About Black Myth: Wukong’s Graphics Modes
The source – whose tweet you can find below – reported that Black Myth: Wukong will feature a mode in 4K and 30 FPS (which is usually called Resolution) and a mode to 1440p and 60 FPS (which could be the classic “Performance”). Even if this information were correct, it should be noted that these numbers are the resolutions and frame rates that the modes aim for: whether they then maintain these numbers on a regular basis is another matter entirely and we will only be able to find out during the review phase.
The insider further claims that the game on PS5 it is very well optimizedso you don’t have to worry about performance. Of course, this is not official information and we shouldn’t take it as certain.
Finally, let’s remember that Game Science has confirmed that the development of Black Myth: Wukong is complete and the game will not suffer any delays, to the delight of fans and even some developers: we know in fact that the creators of Phantom Blade Zero hope that Black Myth: Wukong will be a success.
