Chelsea scored a 7-0 victory at home to Norwich City, in a match that strengthened Norwich’s last position in the league.
Despite the absence of the two attacking stars, Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku and Germany’s Timo Werner, Chelsea “crushed” Norwich with a wide score.
The result became tenth in the list of the biggest historical defeats in the Premier League, in terms of goal difference between the two teams.
All seven goals came from the feet of English players, three for Mason Mount and a goal by Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi, while English defender Max Aarons scored an own goal.
Chelsea became the first club in the Premier League to score 4 or more Englishmen in a single match, since 2016, when Bournemouth repeated the achievement.
