This December 24, a few hours after celebrating Christmas Eve, the singer from Ayacucho Karla Sofia, one of the great exponents of folk music (Quechua folk, as detailed on Instagram), presented her version of the classic song “Come to my house this Christmas” (1973), an original work by the Spanish-Argentine singer-songwriter Luis Maria Aguilera Picca, known by his stage name Luis Aguilé.

Along with her video clip, published simultaneously on Facebook and Instagram, the winner of the 2020 Huayno Ayacuchano Composers Festival shared a message of reflection, in which she also explained to whom she dedicated her performance.
“This Christmas I wish you the best of feelings together with the best companies. May God always bless you and cheer the hearts of those who long to be with their loved ones and cannot due to different circumstances, “he said.
Along these lines, he added: “How much I would like, with all my heart, to have my Mama Juana, (aunt) but I know that before God’s will we can do nothing, therefore, today my song and my prayers are for her. I wish you a beautiful Christmas ”.
