the sea stills sails in the shadow of the mast,
The sea stills shadows on the mast sail,
in the sea sail the mast and the shadows.
Serene the sea in shadows in the closed night,
locked in the night the silver sea shines,
Enclosed the silver shines the night sea.
Jasmine that opens ivory petal leaves,
rose that half opens leaves ruby petals,
carnation that opens leaves and coral petals.
Petals spill desert the fire,
the coral spills deserts carnations,
jasmine spills deserts ivories.
You come with the bouquet and with your white hands,
black at dawn, nocturnal and treacherous,
and you look at me budding and with your white hands.
You look at me and you don’t see the black of your eyes,
the green of my eyes the flames of your eyes,
the iris of your eyes iridescent pupils.
Moon wanes in your hands, moon wanes in mine,
my crucible fingers are water and fade
the moon of your hands and the iris of mine.
The gardens burn in a pulse of April,
and the maiden wanders and seeks acrobatics,
but princesses die with their hymen intact.
And it snows in the castles with flaming flakes,
that flaming snow that scares the mountains
and it becomes a river, a river full of amber.
The stream escapes resurrects in a garden,
emerald of fire that visits the stone,
in the arduous pain of the tree fire.
Ice caryatid silver gray shadow
lover of an obscene and yet whiteness
Let them slide their ships when the clouds boil.
And yet it is the sea and the shadow in which it lives,
and the mast that rises with the wind in the sails,
and the serene night that shines in the silver.
