Andalusia has a yellow warning on the coasts of Almería and Granada, due to strong winds that will rise to 70-80 km/h and west winds with intervals of 50 to 60 km/h (force 7) and waves of 2 to 3 meters.

The Meteorological Agency points out that, apart from the rains, “the highlight” this Thursday will be the drop in temperatures, especially notable in the north, where it may even snow in the mountains. The atmosphere will be “more temperate” on the weekend, AEMET points out.

As for this Thursday, in the northern half of the peninsula the rains will affect the communities of Cantabria, La Rioja, the Basque Country, Aragon and Navarra, where rainfall will accumulate 15 liters per square meter in one hour; In Navarra, AEMET points out that there is also a yellow level due to storms.

The community of Castilla y León continues to experience abundant rainfall, with the highest incidence in the provinces of Ávila, Burgos, Segovia and Soria, with an accumulated rainfall of 15 liters in one hour and the possibility of a storm.

In the Mediterranean arc, the Region of Murcia and the Balearic Islands have activated the yellow warning due to bad seas, while in the Valencian Community the alert only affects the province of Castellón, where wind gusts close to 80 km/h are expected. h.
