Kazakhstan players continued their dominance of the quarter-final results of the Asian Junior and Promising Boxing Championship, currently being held at the ADNEC Center in Al Ain, after 8 new players from them secured qualification to the next round of the championship, which continues until September 9, with the participation of 462 male and female players.
Kazakhstan players topped the qualifiers, followed by 6 players from Ukraine, 2 players from India, 2 players from Vietnam, and 1 player from Iran. The quarter-finals will conclude tomorrow, while the semi-finals will be held next Thursday and Friday.
Anas Nasser Al Otaiba, President of the Boxing Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, stressed that the results of the tournament produced many Asian talents who will have a prominent position in the future. He explained that the Federation continues to cooperate with all continental and international federations to support young players and develop their capabilities through direct contact in all forums.
