From California comes a story that seems to translate GTA in the real worldaccording to the report of the criminal actions carried out by a hardcore punk singer in the past few days, which could really come from a normal gaming session of the Rockstar Games title.
As reported by Kotaku, this is the particular case of Anthony Mehlhaffsinger and frontman of the hardcore punk band called “Cancer Christ” who evidently must have overdone it on the evening of August 21st with the celebrations based on various substances, leading to a chain of anthology-worthy criminal actions.
Perhaps one of the most striking things is that Mehlhaff’s case not only could be linked to GTA, but the man in question also looks incredibly similar to Gabe Newell (on amphetamines), just to stay within the realm of video games.

The account of the exploits of the singer in question really seems to come from a session on Rockstar Games’ criminal sandbox.
According to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, Mehlhaff apparently began his afternoon of madness by harassing a (pregnant) waitress at a restaurant and from there began a visit to the Yosemite National Park truly a nightmare (at least for others).
The forty-year-old, after having attacked the waitress in question, fled chased by the park rangers, giving rise to a classic GTA scene, complete with accident who destroyed the fugitive’s car, but did not stop him.
After having disabled the car, still pursued by the police, Mehlhaff stole a bicycle with which he continued the escape until he reached another shelter where he threatened the employees inside by brandishing a knife.
At this point, the Cancer Christ frontman stripped down to his underwear and attempted to kidnap a store manager, whose car he then stole to continue the drive, but wrecked it as well. He was then taken into custody, before later attacking officers during an evaluation at a local hospital.
In the end, he appears to have been at least neutralized, bringing some peace to Yosemite Park. Under the moniker “Saint Anthony,” Mehlhaff leads the band Cancer Christ and his trademark “Reptilian Power Violance” style on “a holy mission to slowly make all politicians, pedophiles, and police officers suffer,” according to the band’s official description.
