Ciudad Juárez— A man was injured by a firearm when he was attacked by unknown persons; the failed attack was reported at the intersection of Puerta del Sol and Jardín Iris streets, in the Puertas del Sol subdivision.
Municipal Police officers reported that the injured man received at least six bullet impacts and because access for ambulances and rescue teams is complicated in this area near Ciudad Universitaria, the relatives opted to transport the injured man on board a pick-up truck to a hospital.
Police officers and experts from the General Directorate of Forensic Sciences and Expert Services attended the scene and will work on recovering evidence.
