The game was announced a few days ago and is officially available from today, August 9, 2024, in the section dedicated to classic Game Boy Advance games downloadable by Nintendo Switch Online with Add-on Pack subscribers.
It is also a very particular title, even compared to the classic tradition of the series, being a sort of adventure more structured than usual, which places us for the first time in the shoes of a Pokémon.
A new perspective in the shoes of a Pokémon
To mark its release in the Nintendo Switch Online catalogue, the company has published a launch trailer of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, visible below.
The story takes us to a new world and, for the first time, into the shoes of a Pokemon that can talk and interact with other creatureson a rescue mission in a world ravaged by natural disasters.
In short, it is a notable change of perspective compared to the traditional chapters, with a game mechanic linked to the Mystery Dungeon sub-series, that is, with dungeons to explore, hidden elements to discover and role-playing game characteristics.
Also noteworthy is the initial presence of a personality quiz, the results of which determine which Pokemon we will find ourselves playing among the various options available, including Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Totodile and Chikorita, just to name a few.
