IGN has published a special trailer for the 25th anniversary of the Digimon animated series: created by Toei Animation, the video retraces the long history of the anime and its iconic characters, who have come a long way since 1999.
A journey that began precisely twenty-five years ago with Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02projects originally born from the famous virtual pet Tamagotchi and quickly transformed into an entire world of adventures that has not failed to conquer a very large audience.
Over the years, the animated series dedicated to Digimon have multiplied, reaching a total of over five hundred episodes including the 2020 Digimon Adventure reboot and the unreleased Digimon Ghost Game, which aired in Japan from 2021 to 2023.
