Nintendo announces the beginning of the Mega Festival Multiplayera month of offers and initiatives dedicated to gaming in company. From August 1st to September 8th the software house will offer its players many exclusive offers, with Extra benefits for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
For the duration of the event if we purchase a subscription Nintendo Switch Online for 12 months we will receive as a bonus 2 additional months without having any additional costs. Here are all the other initiatives that will take place this month:
- from 5th to 18th August – with the purchase of some selected games we will be able to get 10% more Gold Points. If we are subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online the bonus will be 20%.
- from August 5th to September 8th – by playing online we will get a 30 Platinum Points bonus per week.
- from 19th to 25th August – Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will have access to 4 multiplayer titles to try free.
- from August 26th to September 8th – they begin Mega Multiplayer Sale on many co-operative and competitive games.

MULTIPLAYER MEGA FESTIVAL STARTS AUGUST 1ST
The Mega Festival Multiplayer offers a variety of activities throughout the month of August, including multiplayer discounts, Gold Point promotions, game trials, and more.
August 1, 2024 – Throughout the month of August and until the beginning of September the Mega Festival Multiplayer has a variety of activities in store, including discounts on hundreds of multiplayer games for Nintendo Switchextra benefits for members of Nintendo Switch Online and additional ways to receive gold and platinum points. The Multiplayer Festival begins Thursday 1st August at 10:00 CEST and it ends Sunday 8th September at 23:59 CEST.
Starting from the very beginning of the Mega Festival Multiplayer, users will be able to receive a Additional two-month Nintendo Switch Online membership at no additional cost by purchasing any 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership on the Nintendo eShop or on My Nintendo Store*.
Starting from Monday 5th August at 10:00 CEST until Sunday, August 18, it will be possible to receive bonus gold points by purchasing certain Nintendo Switch games on the Nintendo eShop or My Nintendo Store**. Users can apply these points to their next Nintendo eShop purchase by redeeming them at checkout. Nintendo Switch Online members will receive 20% in Gold Points, while non-Online members will receive 10% in Gold Points.
In the following weeks the Game Tests. August 19th to 25th Nintendo Switch Online members will be able to try out four multiplayer titles for free. These games will also be available for purchase at a discount during the trial period.
Starting from Monday 26th August at 15:00 CEST until Sunday 8th September at 11.59pm the offers Mega Multiplayer will offer discounts on hundreds of multiplayer games on the Nintendo eShop, including co-op, party, and online titles.
Furthermore, starting from Monday 5th August and until September 8th at 11:59 PMby playing any Nintendo Switch game in online mode, you will have the opportunity to receive, every week, 30 platinum points additional up to a maximum of 150 additional platinum points.
Finally, a variety of My Nintendo Rewards related to multiplayer titles will be available on the My Nintendo Store, including sticker sets, posters and more – these can be redeemed with Platinum Points.
The Multiplayer Mega Festival will begin on Thursday, August 1 at 10:00 CEST and end on Sunday, September 8 at 23:59. These month-long activities will feature a variety of offers, including discounts on hundreds of Nintendo Switch multiplayer games, benefits for Nintendo Switch Online members, and Gold and Platinum Points to redeem on the Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store, respectively.
*Offer expires Sunday, September 8th at 11:59pm. Codes for additional 2-month subscriptions will be emailed within 72 hours of purchase.
