Pokémon Legends: ZA is one of the most anticipated titles by Nintendo fans for 2025. Although there are not many official details at the moment, a new leak has revealed quite interesting information, since the initial assumptions have been revealed, and some of the never-before-seen transformations that will be present in this installment.
According to information from Hidden Power Podcast, Pokémon Legends: ZA will follow the path of Arceusin the sense that it will offer us a series of interesting variations of the Pokémon that we already know. Along with this, it is expected that the starters of this title will be Snivy, from the fifth generation, Torchic, originally from Hoenn, and Totodile, which debuted in Gold & Silver. Likewise, the evolutions of this trio are expected to have new abilities and types, such as a Grass/Dragon Serperior, Fire/Fairy Blaziken, and Water/Steel Feraligatr.
As if that weren’t enough, the leak also revealed the mount Pokémon that will be available this time around, each one being a completely new evolution for creatures we already know. Mudbray is mentioned here to travel through this region, now of Fighting type; Mightyena for finding items, which retains its Dark typing; Luvdisc for traversing water, now a Water/Fairy type; Gogoat for climbing, now a Grass/Ice type; and Noivern for flying, which retains its Flying/Dragon typing.
Finally, there is also talk of a regional form for Dragapult, an evolution of Bibarel, the final form of Xerneas and Yveltal, as well as the expected Mega Evolutions for Chesnaught, which would give him Grass/Steel, Delphox, with which he keeps his Fire/Psychic, and Greninjawhich also retains its Water/Dark.
It is important to mention that at the moment there is no official information from Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company about this title. Considering that Pokémon Legends: ZA will arrive until next year, We will likely have to wait until late 2024 or early 2025 for official details. In related topics, these were the original names of Ruby & Sapphire. Likewise, Ho-Oh will finally arrive Pokémon Unite.
Author’s Note:
I hope this leak is real, because this information sounds very interesting. Having Mega Evolutions of the Kalos trio is something that was clearly needed at the time. Likewise, new evolutions and variations are something that many fans have been asking for for years.
