This Monday, June 10, the weather forecast in Mexico indicates complex meteorological conditions due to various atmospheric systems, according to the National Meteorological Service (SMN) of the National Water Commission (With water). The affected entities will vary in terms of rainfall intensity and possibility of extreme phenomena such as tornadoes.
In this sense Rains are expected in 17 states, which will be of greater intensity in Oaxaca and Chiapaswhile in Sinaloa and ten other states there will be possible isolated rains.
A low pressure center will persist over the Yucatan Peninsula, associated with a low pressure channel in the southeast of the country and the monsoon trough near the coasts of the South Pacific. This system will generate heavy rains and thunderstorms with the potential for hail in the aforementioned regions.
Simultaneously, a low pressure channel over the north and west of the territory, in combination with the subtropical jet stream and the entry of moisture from the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico, will cause strong winds with dust devils in the northwest, north, northeast and center of Mexico. Rains and showers with electric shocks and possible hailstorms are also expected in the north, northeast, east, center and west of the country. In particular, Puebla will experience heavy rains, while Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas could face the formation of whirlwinds.
Heavy rains are expected in Oaxaca and Chiapas, with accumulations of 75 to 150 mm, while Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo will have very heavy rains, between 50 and 75 mm. In Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Puebla, Veracruz and Tabasco, heavy rains of 25 to 50 mm are expected.
In other states, such as San Luis Potosí, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guerrero, Morelos and the State of Mexico, there will be intervals of showers, and in Chihuahua, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Colima, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo and Ciudad from Mexico, the rains will be isolated.
In terms of wind, gusts of 50 to 70 km/h are anticipated in the Gulf of California, and dust devils in Baja California Sur. Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas could experience whirlwinds, while in Baja California, Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guerrero, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Puebla, Tlaxcala, State of Mexico, Mexico City and Morelos, winds of 40 to 60 km/h with possible dust devils are forecast.
The environment will remain hot in much of the country, with temperatures above 40 °C in 15 states, including Baja California, Sonora, Sinaloa, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Tabasco , Campeche and Yucatán. Meanwhile, Chihuahua, Durango, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Morelos, Puebla, Hidalgo, Chiapas and Quintana Roo will reach temperatures of 35 to 40 °C.
