Atlus has released two new trailer Of Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance, the first dedicated to the new story of the Canon of Vengeance introduced in this re-edition, while the second to some of the new demons we will encounter. Find both videos below.
As previously anticipated by the Japanese company, the Canon of Vengeance is an alternative narrative path that tells the dramatic story of revenge on the part of the fallen and which will involve a new character, high school student Yoko Hiromine, and the she-devils led by Lilith, leading to a completely different ending. By starting the game it will be possible to choose whether to face this alternative story or the original one present in the first version of Shin Megami Tensei 5.
Lots of new demons and more
Vengeance also introduces over 40 demons, some of which we review in today's trailer. Among these are the fire demon Efreet, the warrior Karasu Tengu, the rabbit Hare of Inaba and the Nahobbeho, a Jack Frost with the features of the protagonist.
We remind you that Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance will be available starting from June 14, 2024 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Those listed above are not the only new features that we will find in this new version and in this sense Atlus states that thanks to the new gameplay and content additions the total longevity of the game could reach the ceiling of 160 hours in total.
