The prosecutor requested 7 to 8 years for ex-top managers of RSKB for withdrawing ₽1.6 billion
The state prosecution requested seven to eight years in prison for five women – former top managers of the Republican Social Commercial Bank (RSCB), suspected of withdrawing assets worth 1.6 billion rubles from the credit institution. This is reported by “Kommersant”.
According to the publication, Tatyana Nikitina, Ekaterina Baranova, Liliya Mironova, Galina Likhacheva and Alevtina Pavlova are accused under Part 4 of Article 160 (“Embezzlement on an especially large scale”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In addition, the latter is also charged with Part 4 of Article 159 (“Fraud on an especially large scale”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – according to investigators, she used her apartment worth 153 million rubles as collateral for simultaneously obtaining two loans for $3.5 million and 100 million rubles.
The case is being considered in the Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow. During the debate, the prosecutor requested eight years in a general regime colony for Pavlova, and seven years in prison for her accomplices.
A criminal case against the women was initiated in November 2016. According to preliminary data, in 2014 and 2015, top managers of RSKB issued loans to companies, which the investigation considered to be a withdrawal of assets from the bank. In addition, the day before the credit institution’s license was revoked, its top management entered into a number of “dubious” assignment agreements, ceding the rights of claim on issued loans to commercial firms – the bank’s clients. As a result, they repaid their debts to creditors on the same day, which the investigation also considered a withdrawal of assets.
Previously, the prosecutor's office in the Perm Territory requested nine years and eight months in prison for a former employee of the regional FSB Directorate, Grigory Tsaregorodtsev, for accepting a bribe in the amount of 160 million rubles.
