Dueñas is one of the historic members of the UANL team. The midfielder won five Liga MX titles, one Copa MX, three Champion of Champions and one Concacaf Champions League. With Cruz Azul he only played in one tournament. He passed without pain or glory.
'Matador' Hernández lived his best moments as a footballer with Necaxa and the Mexican National Team. However, the famous former forward trained in Cruz Azul's youth ranks. Between 1998 and 2000 he played for the cats, where despite not winning titles, he had an outstanding scoring career.
'Jimmy' Lozano lived his best moments as a player with Pumas, but he also performed at Cruz Azul and Tigres, even without winning titles. With the felines (2005-2008) and the cement workers (2008-2010) he played for two and a half years.
Francisco Fonseca came to Cruz Azul after being a figure in Pumas. With the Machine he played 48 games and scored 25 goals. His great performance with La Noria and the Mexican National Team led him to play in Europe with Benfica. Upon his return to Liga MX, he played with Tigres, a team with which he played 116 games and scored 16 goals.
The Ecuadorian joined the feline team in 2014 and won a Liga MX title. In January 2016, Guerrón signed with Cruz Azul, a squad with which he had ups and downs and was unable to shine.
'Tito' Villa is one of the last idols of the Celeste Machine. With this squad he played a total of 132 games and scored 66 goals. In January 2013, after a brief spell with Pumas, Villa signed with Tigres. The Argentine striker could not be the same in this squad.
