We are in Moscow. We're here to record an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. We'll do it soon
According to him, you can watch the interview with Putin for free on the journalist’s website. An announcement appeared on the main page.
Everyone will be able to watch it in its entirety, as recorded, unedited, on our website TuckerCarlson.com
The site visitor is asked to leave an email address to receive a notification when a conversation with the Russian president is published.
Carlson also said that his team paid for the trip to Moscow themselves; they did not take money from any group or government.

Carlson said that most Americans do not know about what is happening in Russia and Ukraine
Carlson explained that he was interviewing Putin because most Americans are unaware of what is happening in Russia and Ukraine.
Two years into a world-changing war, most Americans are uninformed. They have no real idea of what is happening in this region – here in Russia or 600 miles away in Ukraine
Prior to this, American political scientist John Varoli, in light of Carlson’s upcoming interview with the Russian leader, spoke about brutal censorship in the United States. He noted that 99 percent of the information space in the United States is under the control of the ruling class and the White House. Politicians, he explained, do not allow residents to learn information that differs from propaganda.
Carlson said that Elon Musk will not block his interview with Putin on the social network X
The former Fox News host said that American businessman Elon Musk will not block his interview with Putin on the social network X, which he owns.
Elon Musk has promised not to block this interview when it is posted on his platform X. And we are grateful to him for that. Western governments, on the other hand, will likely do everything they can to censor this video on other less important platforms. They are afraid of information they cannot control
Previously, Musk appreciated the proposal to ban the ex-Fox News TV presenter from entering the United States for visiting Russia. “I agree,” the businessman commented on the publication of journalist Brian Krasenstein, who criticized the proposal to ban Carlson from entering the United States because of a possible interview with Putin. American political scientist William Kristol came up with a similar idea.
Carlson accused the White House of trying to disrupt an interview with the Russian leader
Tucker Carlson said the White House twice tried to sabotage his interview with Vladimir Putin. The first time this happened three years ago, the second time – now, on the eve of a trip to Moscow.
Freedom of speech is our birthright, we are born with the right to say what we believe. This right cannot be taken away no matter who is in the White House. But they try anyway
According to the former Fox News host, almost three years ago, the administration of US President Joe Biden spied on his team's SMS correspondence, and then leaked their content to the media under its control in order to disrupt plans to communicate with the Russian leader.
Carlson expressed confidence that the American authorities did the same thing last month, but the trip to Moscow took place anyway.
In September 2023, Tucker Carlson already accused the US administration of disrupting his plans to conduct an interview with the Russian leader. He said the White House has made “very aggressive attempts to control” media content over the years.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller, in turn, said that he was not aware of who prohibited Carlson from interviewing the Russian president. He stressed that the American authorities have nothing to do with this ban.

Carlson called Zelensky's interview with the US disgusting propaganda
Carlson noted that the American media, taking numerous interviews with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky,
are not engaged in journalism, but in propaganda “in the most disgusting form.”
They did many interviews with Zelensky. They are holding rousing sessions to reinforce Zelensky's demand that the US get even deeper into military action in Eastern Europe and pay for it. This is not journalism
According to the TV presenter, he invited the Ukrainian leader to give him an interview. Carlson expressed hope that he would agree.
What is known about Carlson's possible interview with Putin?
American political scientist John Varoli believes that Carlson came to Moscow for an interview with Putin. He also suggested that if Carlson was unable to talk with the head of state, he would interview someone who held a high position in the Russian government.

Carlson's car was spotted near the building of the Russian Presidential Administration. The journalist's car left its territory on the evening of Monday, February 5.
The Tsargrad TV channel reported that Carlson interviewed a certain interlocutor in Moscow, but did not disclose details or the name of this person.
Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov, in turn, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not yet have an interview with foreign media in his plans.
The Russian leader's press secretary made a similar statement in September, noting that the moment for the head of state to communicate with foreign journalists had not yet come.
Then Peskov emphasized that the Russian leader is extremely frank in communicating with foreign media, he gives detailed answers and explains the position of the Russian state. In the case of an interview with Carlson, the head of state will do the same.
First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Dmitry Novikov admitted that an interview of an American journalist with Russian deputies is possible if such a request comes from the political observer himself.
