“Soyuzmultfilm” demanded the Investigative Committee to check the rights of the US company to “Cheburashka”
The Soyuzmultfilm film studio asked the investigative authorities to check the legality of the contracts concluded with the American company La Roubine regarding international rights to the Cheburashka brand. About it reports RBC with reference to the press service of the film studio.
The press service emphasized that this check is currently being carried out.
This is not the first case involving this American company on the Russian market. Soyuzmultfilm clarified that La Roubine previously tried to prove the fact of ownership of the rights to the cartoon characters of the Ekran studio – Leopold the Cat and Little Raccoon.
Previously “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” reportedthat the continuation of the family cartoon about “Cheburashka” will be released on December 31, 2025.
