Sinéad O'Connor died of natural causes, the coroner reported today. The Irish singer died at her South London residence on July 26, 2023 at the age of 56. “Mrs O'Connor died of natural causes. “Therefore the case is closed,” says the statement from Southwark Coroner's Court.
The day after the death was announced, British police already said they were not treating the singer's death for causes other than natural causes. The artist had recently moved to London and tweeted earlier that month he had been away for 23 years.
O'Connor released a dozen albums between 1987 and 2014, her biggest hit being Nothing Compares 2 U and his career was always marked when he tore up a photo of the Pope on a television broadcast.
