Los Mochis, Sinaloa. after it was rescued from a fire that consumed his home, a neighbor of Ampliación Santa Alicia died electrocuted when trying to enter and stepping on an electrical power cable.
The fatal victim was identified as Juan Antonio “A”who was 47 years old.
The fatal accident occurred on El Regador street, between Munich and Liverpool.
According to the information collected, around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, there was a fire in the house of the adult.
Elements of the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection entered through the back and with the help of stairs they managed to rescue him and put him to safety.
The sinister managed to be controlled with the support of Firefighters, Veteran Firefighters and Civil Protection; however, during the work, on several occasions there were sparks caused by a cable of electrical energy.
It transpired that the emergency corps were beginning to withdraw when the man tried to enter the house; at those moments he stepped on a cable that was energized, which caused a electric shock which killed him instantly.
The body was lying next to a palm tree and a few meters from the entrance to the home. The area was cordoned off while waiting for elements from the North Zone Vice Prosecutor’s Office.
