Today, 295,707 male and female students in grades three to twelve in public and private schools that apply the Ministry of Education curriculum are taking exams at the end of the 2021-2022 school year.
The students of the eleventh grades of the Elite, General and Advanced tracks, and the students of the ninth and twelfth grades of the Elite track, started the end of the third semester exams last Friday in chemistry and health sciences.
The Emirates Foundation for School Education has allocated 87 headquarters to take the exams, distributed over the different emirates of the country.
School administrations directed students to commit to attending school half an hour before the test timing, wearing school uniforms, adhering to precautionary measures inside the school and in the exam hall, and the need to wear masks as a precautionary measure and to preserve public safety.
The administrations stressed that all students bring the computers they obtained from the Ministry of Education with the charger during the examination period. In the event of a computer defect, students will have to bring a paper from the technical support team confirming the existence of the defect and hand it to the head of the Student Affairs Unit, or the student will be prevented from entering the test.
The foundation also announced that the make-up exams will be held from June 20 to 24. It targets students who are absent with an acceptable excuse for the exams at the end of the third semester, or who have faced technical problems during the final exams.
School principals will work on identifying these student groups through a dedicated link that will be circulated later. School administrations were instructed to check the data of students who were absent with an excuse, and who encountered problems with defining the subject.
