During the day of Arafa and the first days of Eid al-Adha, the working abattoirs of Ras al-Khaimah received 2,801 sacrifices of sheep, cows and camels.
The abattoirs witnessed a remarkable turnout from the community members wishing during the Eid, amid full readiness and readiness for all slaughterhouses in the operations of receiving animals, medical examination, carrying out slaughtering operations and delivering them to the hands of the beneficiaries with ease and ease.
Shaima Al Tunaiji, Director of the Public Health Department in Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, said: The department has completed its readiness to receive requests for Eid Al-Adha, starting on the Day of Arafa, which witnessed a turnout from community members and charities, and the implementation of the required maintenance and work to provide services that meet the needs of customers, with tightening control over the application Precautionary measures of physical distancing and others related to the reduction of the emerging virus “Covid 19”.
She stated that the Ras Al-Khaimah abattoirs operating in both the Al-Fila abattoir, the Ras Al-Khaimah and Al-Ghail abattoirs received 1134 sacrifices from community members and charitable societies on the day of Arafa, and the first day of Eid Al-Adha received 1,667 sacrifices, as they witnessed the implementation of the required operations and tasks to the fullest, with keenness to quickly submit The service is to avoid delays or cause overcrowding, stressing that all slaughterhouses are staffed with veterinarians, butchers and workers to quickly provide the service according to the highest and most effective standards and tasks that meet the aspirations and needs of customers and reduce waiting hours.
She stressed that the abattoirs of Ras Al Khaimah are ready to receive requests from community members during the Eid days, and called not to use roaming butchers who lack experience and competence in the processes of verifying the health of animals before and after slaughter and to avoid violations.
