Zazie Beetz has been on the rise since joining the cast of the hit series Atlanta, for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Production. Now, according to the media Screen Rant, the interpreter would be working with her partner David Rysdahl in an adaptation of Rapunzel, in which she would be the protagonist.

David Rysdahl assured that he and Beetz are always writing, so they have several scripts that they cannot reveal much about. However, he assured that these projects will come out with the seal of the production company they have. In the case of Rapunzel, the writer did not hesitate to share information about the tape during an interview.
“There’s something I can’t talk about, but it’s going to be exciting. But Zazie [Beetz] and I write a lot. I have a couple of scripts. We have a production company and we write a lot. Like I just said twice. Did I mention we write a lot? (laughs). So we’re doing a Rapunzel story, kind of what happens next, for Zazie. He will have a huge afro.
