Who is Zaynab Dosso, the record-breaking Italian sprinter

Zaynab Dosso is one of most talented Italian athletes of the last years. Born in Italy to Ivorian parents, she chose to compete for our country and her results are proving her right.

To the last Italian indoor championships in Anconathe sprinter established the new Italian record on the 60 meter dash with a time of with the time of 11″83, erasing the previous record. A time of absolute importance on a global level, which makes her the fastest Italian ever in such a prestigious and difficult specialty.

But Dosso’s results don’t stop there: at the beginning of 2024 the athlete achieved the 7″02 in the 60 indoors and, oh Indoor World Championships in Glasgowshe became the first Italian finalist in the sprint by winning the bronze medal.

With her successes Zaynab Dosso is carrying the colors of Italy high in athletics: now she is aiming for Paris 2024 Games.

Thanks to her talent and determination, she represents a role model for many young athletes and a pride for all Italian sport.
