Young People Building the Future 2024: There is already an exact date for the next payment

Marath Baruch Bolaños López, Secretary of Labor and Social Security, reported at the morning conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on when will the next deposit be for program beneficiaries Young People Building the Future (JCF).

Young People Building the Future is one of the emblematic programs of the López Obrador government, directed by the Ministry of Welfare. This program offers young people between 18 and 29 years old the opportunity to join companies, establishments or institutions for a year, receiving a monthly salary and training in a specific trade.

The next deposit, after a pause due to the electoral ban of the last elections on June 2, will maintain the usual amount of 7 thousand 572 pesos and it will take place next June 28, 2024.

Bolaños López highlighted that, in the last five years, more than 3 million young people have benefited from the program, with an investment of more than 127 million pesos. Likewise, the official stressed that 60% of the participants manage to find employment after completing their training at JCF.

Besides of monthly paymentapprentices receive insurance from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and a certificate of training, which facilitates their insertion into the labor market.

To date, the program has supported 1 million 727 thousand 246 women and 1 million 246 thousand 203 men, who have received not only the monthly payment, but also training and certification of their skills.

The participation period is 12 months, during which companies, public institutions and social organizations offer training and strengthen the work experience of young people.
