Four in the past month, the cases recorded in Pirkanmaa in the category of gross sexual crimes against children are on average about half of the figures for the entire country.

Crime Commissioner of the Internal Finland Police Hannu Kallioniemi says in Aamulehti’s story that the growth in Pirkanmaa is connected to one big crime series.

Sexual acts committed by adults against under-18s are criminal, even if the child has used intoxicants or offered sex under the pressure of circumstances.
