The question is really hard: what is the ugliest car in the world? Each era has had its own handful of unattractive cars, but perhaps there is a pathological case that could go beyond the temporal obstacle. This is the Youabian Pumacar presented at the 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show by the doctor Kambiz Youabian. a real nightmare for any designer, with its crazy shapes paired for more at an exorbitant cost (over a million dollars).
It is not a roadster, especially because of the wheels; it is not a coupe, it is not an SUV. It mounts the engine of a 7-liter Corvette, with 500 horsepower to be entrusted to extreme pick-up tires, on a very long platform so as to have over four meters of wheelbase. The car measures 6.15 meters in length, 2.36 meters in width and 1.82 in height. From the premises, it is already clear that in the strait this car must not have many saints on its side. Below you can see pictures of this bizarre project.
Regarding the design, every raised eyebrow, a la Carlo Ancelotti, is legitimate: the front part seems squashed in terms of width, with the headlights practically in the middle position. There are also two fins in front of the tires, as is typical of roadsters, but the shape is very curious (to put it mildly). At the rear, the bodywork continues to form two pointed tails of dubious functional utility. The lateral shapes seem more free brushstrokes than the result of an actual aerodynamic study, and in front of the rear tires there are the tailpipes. The cockpit portion appears to be juxtaposed with the rest of the bodyworkas if a small car had been set inside an external casing.
