Yesterday, the Yemeni National Army announced the killing and wounding of 31 members of its forces in violations of the UN truce committed by the terrorist “Houthi” militia during the past two days on various fighting fronts.
The army’s media center said, in a statement reported by the Yemeni news agency “Saba”, that “the Houthi militia committed 277 violations of the armistice during the days of Wednesday and Thursday, on the fronts of the governorates of Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Jawf and Marib, which resulted in the deaths of 12 army men, and the injury of 19 others. in separate attacks.
This is the highest death toll announced by the army since the entry into force of the humanitarian truce sponsored by the United Nations in the country since the beginning of last April.
The center pointed out that the attempt to infiltrate armed “Houthi” groups towards a site on the Maris front in the Al-Dhalea axis, in the north of the country, was at the forefront of violations, stressing that the army forces thwarted that attempt, and forced the “Houthis” to flee.
