Xóchitl Gálvez demands that the authorities find the 'raised' PAS candidate in Sinaloa

“I demand that the Sinaloa authorities use all their tools, intelligence and technology to find the whereabouts of Luis García Corrales, candidate for mayor of Culiacánand his companion, Juan Francisco Cerón Beltrán.

All my solidarity with his family and friends in these difficult and uncertain times,” wrote the PAN-PRI-PRD standard bearer on her X account (formerly Twitter).

The moral leader of the PAS, Héctor Melesio Cuén Ojeda reported that Luis Alonso García and his friend Juan Francisco Cerón, were allegedly detained in Culiacán by elements of the State Policeaccording to testimonies, although state authorities have not yet confirmed this fact.

He mentioned that the “levantón” would have run along Las Torres road, two blocks before reaching Obregón Avenue, and it is presumed that they were taken away by members of a State Police patrol.

For their part, this Monday members of the PAS held a rally outside the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) of Sinaloa to demand the prompt reappearance of the candidate for councilor and his companion.

Notably PAS is a member of the Fuerza y ​​Corazón por México coalitionof which the PAN, PRI and PRD are part, participating together at the state level in Sinaloa in this electoral process.
