There exit date official of XDefiant will be announced at the end of the tests for servers which will take place shortly on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and which the game developers are currently working on.
After denying that XDefiant was postponed to “chase Call of Duty”, Ubisoft published a message to thank the users who are supporting their new shooter and to reveal the upcoming news.
“First and foremost, thank you for your continued support of XDefiant,” the post reads. “We are proud to have such a passionate community and thank you for your participation in the testing phases, including the Insider sessions.”
“This game has always been community oriented, and Player feedback is our top priority. While we hoped to launch by the end of March, there are still some improvements we need to test before then.”
“We are finalizing preparations for one 12 hour server testing session which will take place worldwide on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The goal of this test is to stress the servers and obtain critical data to prepare for launch.”
“That's why we need your help to test the servers as much as possible! As always, feedback on your experience is important to us. After this short test, we expect to be able to set a launch date and to start sharing the exciting content that XDefiant has to offer in the future!”
We are almost there
It therefore seems that the wait is almost over for XDefiant, announced in 2021 with a trailer but still without a release date, as already mentioned: the upcoming tests should clarify this important aspect.
