In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about the possible arrival of some Xbox exclusivessuch as Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves, on other platforms such as PS5 and Nintendo Switch and apparently one could arrive in the next few months official confirmation from Microsoftat least being a Zenimax employee.
As reported by IdleSloth on X | Twitter, during the latest Infinite Umbra AgentDeli podcast, a Zenimax employee, suggested that Sarah Bond, the current President of Xbox, will officially talk about Xbox's new strategy regarding Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves and other games produced by Microsoft's internal teams which will become multiplatform games over the course of spring. The post was also commented on by Jez Corden, Windows Central journalist and well-known insider, who commented with “it's happening”, as if to corroborate the information.
Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch?
AgentDeli, in any case, wanted to reassure Xbox players by inviting them to “don't worry about the future of Xbox exclusives“, suggesting that Microsoft's strategy may only affect a narrow circle of IPs.
Clearly taking everything with a grain of salt for the moment, although it must be said that this is not the first time the issue has been discussed and recently possible clues have been found regarding the arrival of Hi-Fi Rush on PS5 and Nintendo Switch. In short, we are awaiting a possible confirmation or denial from Microsoft on the matter.
