Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Education workers from section 53 of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE) held a demonstration at the Sepyc Regional Services facilities, in Mazatlán, to demand authority to stop bullying and harassmentpointed out the coordinator Joaquín Vizcarra Brito.
Teachers from the municipalities of Concordia, San Ignacio and Mazatlán, with banners in hand and united with one voice, launched slogans against the primary level director, Gabriela Grijalva. “Get out, Gabriela; outside, Gabriela; Get out, Gabriela!” They chanted repeatedly.
In addition, demanded respect for the rights of teachersand a stop to the threats and authoritarianism on the part of the official.

“Everything with the SNTE, nothing without the SNTE!” Protesters reiterated on the esplanade of the Sepyc offices in Mazatlán.
During the protest, the case of Professor Castro was exposed, who received a summons to the offices, and they warned him that if he does not show up, he will be warned – they write it in dark black letters on the summons – and if he continues with this attitude, will receive a higher sanction, is explained in the second paragraph of the document signed by the teacher Graciela Grijalva Castro, a copy of which is in the possession of this medium.
But the professor could not attend the appointment because Monday, Wednesday and Friday he undergoes hemodialysis, since he has a kidney problem.
Teachers, directors, supervisors and the head of the sector attended in his place. In this same situation is the teacher Nancy, who for the cancer he suffers from is in Culiacán receiving radiotherapy. Dozens attended for these two mentors and the others mentioned and demonstrated at Regional Services.
At 10:00 a commission of protesters entered. They were received by Juan José Rendón Gómez, representative of Sepyc, to whom they expressed their disagreement.
At 10:18 am the director Graciela Grijalva arrived, who wanted to impose her authority, but the teachers demanded that she listen to them. She brought up the cases of the teachers and demanded that she send threatening summonses to the workers.
Changes
The deputy director of Basic Education of the Sepyc, Horacio Lora, highlighted that the teachers are in all their right to demonstrate when they consider fair and necessarybut in this case, it is a demonstration that seeks to enforce movements for changes in the assignment of teachers.

However, the changes are already established and adhered to the regulations and are articulated by Unicamm, where all teachers can participate in a transparent manner only once, at the end of the cycle. The official reiterated that they will continue to do so.
