Barbie, director Greta Gerwig's summer hit is the favorite for the 81st edition of the Golden Globe Awards, which will be held this January 7 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. The highest-grossing film in Warner's history has received nine nominations, three of them for best song. It follows Oppenheimer, by Christopher Nolan, who is up for eight statuettes. In the television sections, the fourth and final season of Succession has dominated and has nine candidates.
