Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed what was already an open secret: Aurélien Tchouaméni will not be available to play in the Champions League final on June 1 at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund.
The French player could not finish the second leg against Bayern at the Santiago Bernabéu due to an injury and today it was the Italian coach himself who confirmed that Tchouaméni will not arrive in time for the final: “He will not arrive for the final, he is discarded and I think it can be recovered for the Euro Cup,” he said.

Tchouaméni was replaced in the 70th minute by Camavinga and after performing the corresponding medical tests, Real Madrid confirmed the injury.
“After the tests carried out today on our player Aurélien Tchouameni by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a stress injury in his left foot. Evolution is pending,” the medical services reported.
Since then, Tchouaméni has not played a game again and according to Ancelotti, he will not have minutes in the two remaining games for Real Madrid this season: the last league match against Betis, which will be played this Saturday, and the Champions League final on June 1.
The French midfielder already suffered this same injury last October after playing in the Clásico against Barcelona, and on that occasion he was off the field for 47 days.
