Artistic career
Aurora Aranda began modeling at the age of 16 in the program “Ventana al Hogar”, which was hosted by the Peruvian TV icon, Linda Guzmán, and broadcast on América Televisión. She was also part of the Histrión scenic training center and worked for several seasons in the Pepe Vilar theater company.
In 1980, he entered the most popular comedy program of the moment “Risas y salsa”, which was broadcast by Panamericana Televisión. His most important characters were La Charapa from the sketch “Los Charapas”; Carmencita, from “The Boyfriend” and Margarita from “Correo Sentimental”.
In 1982, together with Tulio Loza, he was part of the program “RequeteTulio”, in which he starred in “Tulito and Tatiana” for three seasons. In 1993, she joined the comedy show “El Conexión” on América Televisión. In 1998, he returned to the screens with “Taxista, ra ra” alongside Adolfo Chuiman.
In 2001, she entered the series “Mil oficios” as Carmen, who is the love interest and neighbor of Renato (Adolfo Chuiman). She stayed with the show for three years.
After living for several years in New York (United States), she returned to the country in 2011 and returned to television with the character of Marga in the telenovela “Corazón de fuego”. The following year, she entered “Al fondo hay lugar” to play Gladys’s mother (Kukuli Morante).

Today, the Peruvian actress is living in New York and is away from the cameras. As she indicated in a recent interview for Radio Stereo Lima, she does not rule out returning to new entertainment projects.
“I would love to return to the theater, to television. It is not in the immediate future, but out there I do have a nice proposal, which I discuss with my son. And yes, I would like to have that ‘little bug’ that we theater actors have again. Of course I would. I’m going to talk seriously with Efraín (current producer of ‘Al fondo hay lugar’), ”he remarked.
