A question came from a reader in which he said:
I joined a job and a contract was concluded that included a trial period of six months. During the trial period, the contract was terminated and I was informed that I had no entitlements as long as the contract was terminated during the trial period. Is this true?

According to Article 9/1 of the Federal Labor Relations Regulation Law, if the employer terminates the worker’s service during the probationary period agreed upon in the employment contract, which may not exceed six months, provided that the worker is notified of this in writing at a minimum of (14) fourteen days before the date specified for termination of service, and in the event of failure to notify the worker, the worker is entitled to compensation for the wage of the notice period or the remaining period thereof based on the text of Paragraph (5) of the same article.
