The benefit It is delivered during the 10 months of the school yearthat is: with a total of 28 thousand pesos per year. And a limit of up to 45 monthly payments, which accounts for one final sum of 126 thousand pesos to contribute to the educational training of each beneficiary.
Who can apply for ‘Young People Writing the Future’?
The priority of this Wellbeing family program focuses on students of:
– Intercultural universities
– Indigenous and rural normal schools, and those with intercultural education models
– Universities for Wellbeing Benito Juárez
– University of Health of Mexico City
– Puebla Health University
– Institutions located in priority locations, such as indigenous areas or areas with a high degree of marginalization
This program covers the entire country, subject to authorized budget availability.
The main objective of this scholarship is to ensure the school permanence of students who come from contexts of high marginalization and poverty, who face greater obstacles to continue and complete their studies.
This is because many of these students must move to metropolitan areas or state capitals to access higher education, which aggravates their economic challenges.
What are the requirements for ‘Young People Writing the Future’?
To be a beneficiary of this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
◆ Be a student of a bachelor’s degree, engineering, Higher University Technician or Professional Associate in an institution with full coverage or eligible for care.
◆ Not receive another scholarship from the Federal Public Administration for the same purpose.
How to register for ‘Young People Writing the Future’?
Those interested must make their request through the Single System of Higher Education Beneficiaries (YOU GO UP).
◆ To enroll in a priority school, students must have completed their primary or secondary education in a public school in a priority location.
◆ For schools eligible for attention, students must be a maximum of 29 years old as of December 31, 2023 and register a low income, according to a socioeconomic study. This last criterion does not apply to those who have already been beneficiaries and continue in the same institution.
