Björn Höcke was on stage at the AfD’s last “citizen dialogue” in Rottweil. This time Alice Weidel is coming. How strong will the protests be?
Rottweil – This is the second event under the title “Rottweiler Dialogue” to which the AfD for Wednesday (April 17th) in the town of Rottweil in Baden-Württemberg. While at the first “citizen dialogue” the Thuringian AfD state leader Björn Höcke was a guest, this time it should AfD parliamentary group leader Alice Weidel to stand on the stage. The invitation doesn't just target politicians. “Political scientists and the public media are outdoing each other in their efforts to deny the AfD’s ability to govern,” it continues. The invitation gives a foretaste of the event, which will focus on the AfD's ability to govern, which has apparently been denied them so far by, as Höcke calls them, “old parties” and public media.
Except Weidel should take part in the event Other “high-ranking AfD politicians from the Bundestag and the state parliament” will also take part in the town hall, as the AfD says. The following names are known:

The Rottweiler “Alliance for Democracy and Diversity” is organizing a demonstration against the AfD event. The alliance is planning a rally against racism, anti-Semitism and hostility to democracy under the motto “Rottweil remains colorful,” reported Southwest Press.
There was already a counter-demonstration at the event in June, in which between 500 and 600 people are said to have taken part. The citizens' dialogue on April 17th begins at 7 p.m. in the Rottweil town hall. The counter-demonstrations are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the town hall.
