The Prologue program that the protagonists of the FIA World Endurance Championship will face on Monday and Tuesday in Qatar changes again.
After the postponement of the collective tests which should have been held between today and tomorrow, the teams began to receive cars and materials in the afternoon, arriving with emergency transports after the cargo ships had been forced to change route due to the shameful geopolitical turmoil which are taking place in the Suez Canal.
However, the containers are not all traveling together and some are still behind in preparing and setting up the garages and cars – in particular the LMGT3 category teams, but also the Cadillac among the Hypercars – so in agreement with the organizers it was decided to review the plans again.
The new program now includes two sessions between the afternoon and evening of Monday 26 February and a second on the morning of Tuesday 27, effectively removing only an hour of activity on the track compared to what was announced on Friday.
For the moment there are no further changes to the race weekend programme, with the 1812 Km of Qatar starting at 9.00 am Italian time on Saturday 2 March.
