Genoa – IT ceased at 16, as foreseen by the Arpal warning issued yesterday, the yellow alert for thunderstorms on the center and east of the region. On Genoa and its province, in the night and in the morning, rainfall was abundant and recorded flooding, trees felled and some traffic problems.
And just around 16, in the sky of Genoa, a double rainbow which attracted the attention of the residents.
The forecasts for the next few days
Tuesday 2 November: From the morning strong winds from the southwest on the coast of A, locally stormy winds on the exposed heads; locally strong winds in the evening on reliefs of B, C and E. Swell rapidly increasing in the night up to rough sea with storm surges due to long southwave wave (period 8-8.5 s) already in the morning on C and western part of A, in extension in the afternoon to the eastern part of B; swell falling in the evening.
Wednesday 3 November: A new perturbation causes rains spread over the entire region since the night, more persistent in the Center-Levant, where significant cumulative range expectations are expected and thunderstorms are possible (with low probability of strong phenomena). Southern winds up to locally strong on C. In the night sea still locally agitated due to a wave from the southwest on C decreasing to very rough already in the morning.
