a few hours ago, Activision revealed the first official details about the new Call of Duty as well as the successor of war zone. Prior to this, the developers of these games had an online session with various content creators to explain in more detail what they could expect from the franchise in the future, and it was here that Activision he admitted that “they had screwed it up”.

“We fucked it up. We broke it. We are not happy about it. There are no excuses.”
Similarly, they mentioned that they continued to have difficulties with the integration of both Black Ops Cold War like Vanguard to the battle royale, and they admit this wasn’t always the plan. Apparently, war zone was going to be exclusive to Call of Duty: Modern Warfarebut after seeing its popularity, teams within Activision they decided to incorporate future games of the saga within it.
Finally, these developers promised to improve war zone in addition to continuing to implement new features in the future and being much more transparent in terms of the communication they have with the community.
Publisher’s note: At least Activision is aware of the dire state Warzone is in. I mean, things were never meant to get to this point and it seems like things got out of hand for them. Let’s hope they don’t repeat these same mistakes with the arrival of Warzone 2, or whatever its successor ends up being called.
