President said that, if he is re-elected, the nomination for the ministry will come from businessmen
President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) said again this Wednesday (June 29, 2022) that he intends to recreate the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, if he is reelected. According to the chief executive, the appointment of the minister responsible for the portfolio will come from businessmen.
“We have already separated [do Ministério da Economia] Employment and Social Security on the one hand and we intend, as suggested by Fiemg [Federação das Indústrias do Estado de Minas Gerais] 2 months ago, in the event of a re-election, recreate Industry and Commerce, whose minister would be appointed by you, with your profile to exactly have freedom to work”, he said.
Bolsonaro made the statement in event “Industry dialogue with pre-candidates for the Presidency of the Republic”carried out by CNI (National Confederation of Industry), at the CICB (Brazilian International Convention Center), in Brasília.
On May 26, Bolsonaro made the same promise during the inauguration ceremony of the new board of Fiemg (Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais).
THE CNI (National Confederation of Industry) promoted the event “Industry dialogue with pre-candidates for the Presidency of the Republic” to debate the 21 industry proposals already delivered to the pre-candidates.
In addition to Bolsonaro, the former minister Ciro Gomes (PDT) and the senator Simone Tebet (MDB). the former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (EN) was invited, but did not attend. The mediation was done by the Editor-in-Chief of Power 360, Fernando Rodrigues.
