As night fell this Friday in the capital, he shared a new video on his social networks.
“Our military is here, our citizens are here. We are here. We are in Kyiv. We are defending our glorious Ukraine. Good night, ”she assured in a 33-second footage.

In the clip he appeared next to Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister; Andriy Yermak, head of the president’s office; Mijaíl Podolyak, adviser to the presidency; and David Arahamiya, leader of the parliamentary faction.
They are seen without any type of protection, such as bulletproof vests or helmets; they only wear green coats and shirts.
‘They have left us alone’
Zelenski was visibly affected in the last few hours when he addressed his compatriots, as he assured that the citizens had been left alone “to defend our State.”
“Who is willing to fight with us? I do not see anyone. Who is ready to give Ukraine the guarantee of NATO membership? Everyone is scared,” he said.
The conflict continues in the streets of the country. At the moment, according to local authorities, the death toll amounts to 100. The United Nations Organization (UN) counts more than 50 thousand people who have had to leave the territory and seek refuge in bordering countries.

Zelenski stated on his Twitter account that he had spoken with Joe Biden, president of the United States, to strengthen sanctions against Russia in the face of its military attack.

Several organizations and countries have asked Vladimir Putin to give up his plans or, otherwise, they will impose new sanctions. In fact, the United Kingdom was one of the last to announce that it froze the assets and bank accounts that Putin and Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, have in its territory.
