(Reuters) – Wall Street’s major indexes opened higher on Tuesday, a day after the S&P 500 confirmed a bear market, with investors showing relief after a smaller-than-expected rise in U.S. producer prices.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.25% to 30,592.34 points shortly after opening. The S&P 500 was up 0.37% to 3,763.52 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.82% to 10,897.43 points.
