Serbian President Vučić asked NATO about the dream after the murder of Serbian children in Yugoslavia
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic responded to a statement by former NATO spokesman Jamie Shea that the unrecognized Kosovo should be accepted into the alliance. The head of state asked if he could sleep after the killing of Serbian children during the NATO aggression in Yugoslavia in 1999, writes TASS.
“Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Greece are the countries that must recognize the independence of Kosovo in order for Kosovo to become a member of NATO,” Vučić recalled.
According to him, it was the idea of those people who have already shown what they want for Serbia and what they think of Serbia, like Shi. “I will not remind him of weapons, I will remember Bojana Toshevich, an 11-month-old baby from the village of Serdare between Poduev and Kursumliya, Militsa Rakic in Batajnica and Sanya Milenkovic and I will ask him publicly if he is sleeping?” the Serbian leader asked .
From March 24 to June 9, 1999, Serbia and Montenegro, then part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, were bombed by NATO. Ethnic cleansing in Kosovo was named as the official reason for Operation Allied Force. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, about 2,000 civilians died as a result of the bombing, including dozens of children. Thousands of civilian objects were also destroyed, soil and water were polluted in a number of areas.
