The sharp cooling that will come to the capital region on September 1 will linger for the entire first decade of the month. This was announced by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand on Monday, August 29.
“In the first ten days of September, one should not expect a significant increase in temperature, Moscow will be in an anticyclone regime, in its cold part. What will happen after the first decade – the calculations will be later, and the Indian summer cannot be ruled out yet, but not in the first decade, ”the forecaster told the city news agency“Moscow“.
According to Vilfand, the cold snap in the city will be sharp, and the air temperature on the first day of autumn will immediately drop by 15-17 degrees – up to +12-14 degrees.
He clarified that for the beginning of September, such indicators are below the climatic norm.
Earlier in the day, Muscovites were warned that the weather with partly cloudy, in some places intermittent rain with a thunderstorm is expected on Monday. During the day in Moscow will be from 26 to 28 degrees above zero, writes RIAMO.
On the territory of the Moscow region, meteorologists promise from 25 to 30 degrees of heat in the daytime and from +13 to +18 degrees at night.
