Charo, Michoacan.- After several hours of intense fightwere controlled two forest fires registered in the municipalities of Coalcomán and Aguilillawhile one more in Chinicuila managed to be put out.

In the municipality of Erongaricuaro a was reactivated fire on El Conejo hill due to the high temperatureshence brigadiers of the National Forestry Commission (Conafor), Michoacán Forestry Commission (Cofom) and volunteers carry out the work of combating and liquidating the fire, it was added.
Eight fires
Brigades from Conafor, Cofom, city councils, Civil Protection, Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), Civil Protection and volunteers respond to a total of eight forest fires in the entity in the municipalities of Coalcomán (1), Tumbiscatío (1), Aguililla (1 ), Chinicuila (2), Erongaricuaro (1), Chilchota (1) and Charo (1), is detailed in the statement.
In the last mentioned municipality, it was around 1:30 p.m. this Thursday when the report of a forest fire in the Pino Real ejido was received.
The Fire Management Center reported that brigade members carried out the tasks of combating, controlling and liquidating the fire.
It was added that it was expected that the fire could be controlled in the next few hours if weather conditions permitted.
