This September 19, Mexico once again experienced an earthquake in its territory. The epicenter was located in the state of Michoacán and was felt throughout the southwestern and central parts of the country.
The tectonic movement occurred just an hour after a drill was to be held in several cities. For this reason many citizens were confused by the fact.

In addition to this, September 19 is an important date in Mexico. On that same day, the earthquakes of 1985 and 2017 occurred, leaving hundreds of people damaged, missing and victims. In the most recent, five years ago, more than 360 people died.
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador immediately stated that the authorities were already evaluating the consequences of the earthquake. Hours later, he announced that a man had died in the city of Colima as a result of the disaster.

Likewise, the mayor of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, wrote on her Twitter account that “so far no damage has been reported.” According to government data, some 48 million people felt the earthquake.

Despite the reports of calm by the authorities, the videos of the moment spread quickly on social networks. Thousands of people published the moments of fear and anxiety they experienced.
One of the recordings that attracted the most attention was made in Jalisco. In the images you can see the strong movement of cars in a parking lot while the earthquake occurs.

At the same time, the dogs and other animals that were in the street came out in terror. The canines moved between people and cars to get away from what was happening.
The post has already had more than two million views on Twitter and has been widely commented on. Some users of the social network worried about the fate of the puppies and if they had already returned to their homes.
