The Frenchman started the play with a backheel entering the final quarter of the pitch, while Jude Bellingham, with a cool head, paused to make the necessary pass. The former Monaco and PSG player ran into space, left the central defender standing with a good feint and finished without further problems to the delight of the White House.
With this partial victory, Real Madrid has 17 points and is one point behind the leader, Barcelona, with one game less. Athletic Club is in third place with 13 and Atlético Madrid completes the qualifying spots for the next Champions League with 12. Meanwhile, Alavés is in eighth place with 10, outside the European spots.
